I think IBCT training is a real drive of development and change in higher education?s institutes. I have observed that all associate trainers trained by IBCT in our Faculty made a tremendous change. Their competencies noticeably increased. I and my AT colleagues turned to be more enthusiastic, skilled and professional. IBCT standards and professionalism is contagious. Being trained by very professional trainer is one of the most enjoyable experience any one could have.

I have participated in many courses within the field of medical education, but this is the first course in my life characterized by such discipline, in timing and making use of every single minute. Despite attending numerous courses both inside and outside the Kingdom, this is the first of its kind at this level. Secondly, I discovered how far we were from authentic training programs; the courses held at the college and university were conducted randomly, and we mistakenly thought we were receiving proper training. Thirdly, I will no longer allow anyone to train me unless they are certified, nor will I allow my students to attend any training course unless it is licensed. I have now realized the profound difference between learning through a professional methodology versus a random approach.

Training others is not just a trainer telling information. It is a code of ethics and standards of professional conduct to be followed by any trainer globally. And because delivering the knowledge in a convincing method is my aim, I’ve chosen to certify myself as IBCT Associate Trainer. I am glad to be the first UAE trainer certified by IBCT

To be honest, this is the first time I have attended a training course with such great, rigorous, beautiful, and beneficial standards, despite having attended many courses in the past. Based on what I have witnessed, I feel a sense of sorrow for myself and for society when people with no real connection to this field take the lead in training. The program was distinguished in several aspects, most notably the great professionalism of Dr. Ahmed Metwally, both in terms of the rich scientific material provided and his sophisticated manner of interaction within the training hall. In conclusion, I would like to express my gratitude to the organizing body that facilitated this course and to all the staff members involved.

It must be said… IBCT is an outstanding center with excellent practical training and high-quality academic content. As for the trainers — truly wonderful, and none more impressive than Ahmed Metwally. I hope to complete the second level with you soon, God willing.

Truthfully, we were not able in the past to know what true training is. Through these training courses and sessions, we were able to achieve skills, knowledge, and application behaviors that were excellent in training, and we applied them effectively according to very high standards. We will strive, God willing, to practice them in our professional and academic lives to develop our students at the University of Hail, and then, God willing, transfer this experience to the community. When I decided to be one of the IBCT trainers, I didn?t realize how unique, smart, and talented they are. My only goal was to be a good trainer, but when I started this amazing program, I realized many things I hadn?t thought about before. It changed my attitude and made me a new person. Now I have goals and I?m trying to achieve them as soon as possible. One thing you never find elsewhere after finishing the program is that IBCT trainers always stand beside you, encourage you to improve yourself, and answer your questions anytime. Since I graduated from faculty of Medicine in 2002, I didn't stop searching for new challenges, limitless horizons and endless excitement. After 13 years, my rocket lands on IBCT planet. I have no enough words to express my great experience at IBCT training in its two first levels. Actually, a perfect training which help me to discover my hidden abilities as a trainer on a strong scientific basis and by more than excellent trainers. The TOT Program No. AT089, which was held at the University of Hail from May 16 to 20, 2017, was a milestone in my life. Through it, I gained valuable knowledge, acquired important skills, and experienced a positive shift in my attitudes. Thanks first to Allah, and then to those who excelled in delivering this truly outstanding and highly beneficial program?namely the IBCT management, Dr. Ahmed Metwally, Dr. Ahmed El-Kamel, and from the University of Hail in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Haitham Abdulmajeed, as well as the esteemed colleagues who participated in the program. Together, we gained a great deal, praise be to Allah.

Five days ago, I was actually a different person. I thought of myself as a self-confident trainer who could deliver presentations at any academic level. My vision was that I was the best and could deliver the right information. However, after these five days, this has been a wonderful and amazing experience. I actually learned skills that I never knew before, and I could be a better person not only academically but also professionally. These skills will make me a better academic trainer and a better teacher; they will also help me work professionally at King Abdulaziz University following the highest standards that could be accredited by IBCT.

I was honored to join course No. 89 in the training and preparation program for participating trainers (internationally accredited IBCT standards). I am truly grateful; although the course was intensive, I never felt bored. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to benefit and excel in training. Thanks to everyone who worked to make the course successful and delivered the content with an excellent approach, and special thanks for answering our inquiries and facilitating all aspects of the course.
