International Faculty and Leadership Development Center

The Center for Faculty and Leadership Development was established following a decision by the University President (Decree No. 1012) on June 23, 2003, as part of the University’s Project Management Unit for Performance Development. The center initially operated under this unit and launched its first training programs in September 2004.

The center is dedicated to enhancing the skills of faculty members, academic and administrative leaders, and supporting staff in key areas such as teaching, scientific research, leadership, and management. It also focuses on fostering professional ethics, communication styles in education, technology integration, and effective presentation skills.

On January 28, 2010, a presidential decree (No. 261) integrated faculty and leadership development activities into the Center for Strategic Studies and Leadership Development. However, on February 12, 2012, the Board of Directors of this center approved an independent organizational structure for faculty and leadership development, which was later presented to the University Council for approval.

Finally, on June 24, 2013, the University Council officially separated the Faculty and Leadership Development Center from the Center for Strategic Studies, granting it independent technical, financial, and administrative autonomy as a specialized unit within the university. Today, the center continues to play a pivotal role in advancing academic and administrative excellence.
